Detailed Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 24, 2026

Zero-Data Retention Policy: We process, we don't possess.

1. Introduction to Our Privacy Commitment

Welcome to PDF Tools. Your privacy is not just a feature; it is the foundation of our platform. In a digital world where personal data is often treated as a commodity, we take a different stand. This Privacy Policy outlines our strict protocols regarding data collection, processing, and protection. Our platform is designed as a "No-Log" ecosystem, meaning we minimize data footprints at every possible stage of your interaction with our tools.

2. Data Handling for PDF & Document Tools

When you use our Merge PDF, Split PDF, or Compress PDF services, your documents undergo a sophisticated processing cycle.

A. RAM-Only Processing

Unlike traditional editors, our servers operate on volatile memory (RAM). This means that during the conversion or compression of your files, the data exists only temporarily. It is never written to a permanent hard disk drive (HDD) or solid-state drive (SSD).

B. Automatic Wiping System

Once you download your processed file or close your browser tab, our system triggers an automatic purge. Even if you forget to delete the file, our cron jobs permanently wipe all temporary data every 60 minutes. We have no "undelete" or "recovery" feature because we simply do not keep the data.

3. Social Media Tools & Link Generators

Our platform offers various downloaders for Instagram, Pinterest, and Flickr. It is important to understand how these interact with third-party APIs:

4. Mathematical & Engineering Calculators

Our calculators (GST, Currency, Moment of Force, etc.) process data locally or via encrypted server-side scripts. The inputs you enter—such as financial figures or engineering variables—are used solely to generate the result in your current session. We do not analyze or aggregate this data for market research.

5. Developer Utilities & Code Privacy

When using HTML Minify or Remove Blank Lines, the code you paste remains your intellectual property. We do not "scrape" your code for snippets or store it for future use. For the C Language and programming tutorials, any practice code you run is executed in a sandboxed environment that is refreshed after every use.

6. Use of Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use minimal, non-essential cookies to ensure the website functions correctly.

7. Advertising & Third-Party Partners

To keep our tools 100% free, we may show advertisements via Google AdSense. These partners may use cookies (like the DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visit to this and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting your Google Ad Settings.

8. Global Compliance (GDPR & CCPA)

Even though we do not store personal data, we adhere to the principles of:

A. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Users from the European Economic Area (EEA) have the right to access, rectify, or erase any data. Since we do not collect data, these rights are automatically protected by our "No-Data" design.

B. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

We do not sell your personal information because we don't collect it. We respect "Do Not Track" signals from your browser.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our services are safe for everyone, including children. Since we do not collect personal information, we do not knowingly solicit or gather data from children under the age of 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our tools or legal requirements. We encourage you to check this page periodically. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
